Training Through and From CGOAI
CGOAI, either by developing its own or in conjunction with a Certification & Professional Development Partners brings a vast array of educational opportunities to the Chief Golf Officer community. While some lead to professional certifications, others give both the individual and the corporation a broader knowledge, standards, practices and processes that define a successful Chief Golf Officer.
Training from CGOAI will soon come in the form of learning webinars, educational conferences, forums and chapter presentations, live classes taught by CGOAI Authorized Trainers, online self-study courses, and course delivered by one of our many Certification & Professional Development Partners.
CGOAI's CCGO Bridge program allows participating organizations to have one or more of its courses or training programs receive credit toward earning one of the CCGO designations. This allows organizations to integrate the best of their training with the industry-wide professional development programs developed by CGOAI. CCGO Master Class
The Certified Chief Golf Officer (CCGO) Master Class is an integral part of the CCGO program. It provides Chief Golf Officers – whether they work within your organization or as a provider with an intensive, case study driven learning experience on the state-of-the-art processes for Chief Golf Officer success. Now, more than ever, companies are operating globally and are faced with increased challenges of engagement that require knowledge, training and expertise from the individuals. CGOAI’s Chief Golf Officer Certification can ensure that your company successfully navigates this course of challenges.
The three-day live or online Certified Chief Golf Officer (CCGO) Master Class along with the one-day Governance Workshop, will prepare the professionals in your organization to further integrate the game of golf into more and more initiatives.
Individuals who complete the course earn 75 points (1/2 the required points for certification) toward their CCGO designation and are immediately able to improve Chief Golf Officer outcomes at the organizations with which they work. Successfully completing either the live or online CCGO Master Class is a mandatory to achieve Associate Certified Chief Golf Officer (aCCGO) certification.
The class is delivered to individual professionals both through in-person public classes as well as through a self-paced online format.
Governance Workshop
CGOAI presents a one day intensive Governance Workshop, based on content from the CGOBOK,that presents exceptional training on Chief Golf Officer and governance. This workshop fulfills both educational needs as well as gains 15 points towards CCGO certification. This is CGOAI's most popular workshop, which is typically delivered live piggy-backed to our North American CCGO Master Classes. The class is delivered to individual professionals both through in-person public classes as well as through a self-paced online format.

CCGO Bridge and Chief Golf Officer Professional Course Catalog (CGOCC)
The CCGO Bridge program allows participating organizations to have one or more of its courses or training programs receive credit toward earning the CCGO designation. This allows organizations to integrate the best of their training with the industry-wide professional development programs developed by CGOAI. These, and other CGOAI courses and trainings make up the Chief Golf Officer Professional Course Catalog.
Online Web Based Training
CGOAI offers both the CCGO Master Class as well as the Chief Golf Officer Governance Workshop in online versions for those who can't take time from their busy schedule to attend a live class or who want the convenience of a self-pace course. All content and points towards certification are identical to what is found in the face-to-face classroom setting. The online courses from CGOAI are accepted and approved under the Department of Labor Workforce Investment Act CareerOneStop program.
